Junior guard Bryan Wholey (Marshfield, Mass.) played a key part in the Bates College men's basketball team's wins over Endicott, Colby and Bowdoin last week, averaging 18.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.0 blocks and 1.33 steals while shooting 14-for-15 at the line (.933) and 8-for-18 on 3-pointers (.444).Wholey led the Bobcats in scoring in non-league wins over Colby and Bowdoin, with 17 and 16 points respectively.

Sophomore Margot Webel(Locust Valley, N.Y.) was one of four players on the No. 10 nationally ranked Bates women's squash team who went undefeated without losing a single game last weekend.Competing at the Wesleyan University Round Robin, the Bobcats (5-1) defeated George Washington University 9-0 and Middlebury College 6-3 on Friday, then topped Connecticut College 9-0 and Mount Holyoke 5-4 on Saturday.
Webel was particularly dominant at the No. 6 position for Bates, winning 108 points and losing only four, while teammates Whitney Roller '10 (Haverford, Pa.), Sarah Blomstedt'09 (Gill, Mass.) and Sophie Runquist '09 (Kent, Conn.) were also undefeated.
