The Bates men's and women's squash teams are the only ones competing at home this weekend. Current female Bobcat of the Week Cheri-Ann Parris and the No. 12-ranked Bobcats play their last home matches of the season this weekend, and they are key ones at that. The Bobcats are hosting #26 Columbia on Friday at 6 p.m., #11 Mount Holyoke on Saturday at 2 p.m., and #10 Brown on Sunday at 4 p.m. They are the final home matches of senior captains Hannah Laverty and Whitney Roller -- who have both played in the top three spots in Bates' lineup throughout their careers -- and senior Morgan Maciewicz, a newcomer to the team this year.
The men's team, ranked No. 11 in the country, will be even busier, hosting #34 Columbia on Friday at 6 p.m., #31 MIT on Saturday at 11 a.m., #24 Denison on Saturday at 3:30 p.m., #23 Stanford on Saturday at 5 p.m., #9 Dartmouth on Sunday at 11 a.m. and #13 Brown on Sunday at 4 p.m. It's the last chance to catch seniors Kush Mahan and Jordan Greenberg, who have excelled in the top two positions in the lineup for the past two seasons, in a collegiate match at the Bates Squash Center.
