Twenty-two Bates student-athletes named NESCAC Fall All-Academic

HADLEY, Mass. – Twenty-two student-athletes from Bates College were named Fall 2009 All-Academic selections by the New England Small College Athletic Conference, announced by the NESCAC on Friday.

To be eligible, a student must be a junior or senior, a varsity letter winner and carrying a cumulative grade point average of 3.35 or better.

Bates' honorees include one athlete who won NESCAC All-Conference honors in his sport, cross country junior Devin Dilts. Six of them -- Katie Bash, Rachel Eades, Liz Leberman, Peter Litwin, Avery Masters and Ngoc Pham -- are senior repeat honorees from the 2008 NESCAC Fall All-Academic team.
