LEWISTON, Maine -- The Bates baseball team's entire three-game series this weekend against Bowdoin will now be played at Bates' Leahey Field, adding to a big, busy weekend of competition for Bates athletics, particularly on campus.
Baseball plays its home opener against the NESCAC East rival Polar Bears today at 3 p.m. The teams' Saturday doubleheader will be played at Leahey Field starting at noon. The games can be followed online via Live Webcast.

The softball team's three-game series against NESCAC East rival Trinity at Lafayette Street Field. The Bobcats play their home opener against the Bantams today at 4:30 p.m., followed by a doubleheader on Saturday that starts at 11 a.m. The games can be followed online via Live Webcast.
The men's and women's track and field teams' home meet at Russell Street Track against Colby, MIT and Southern Maine (men only). Men's decathlon and women's heptathlon competition kicks off the meet on Friday afternoon. The main meet begins at 12 p.m. Saturday.

The Bates women's lacrosse team plays at Connecticut College Saturday at 12 p.m.
Women's tennis plays a non-conference match at MIT on Saturday at 3 p.m.
Men's and women's rowing travel to Tufts' home course in Malden, Mass., on Saturday to take on the host Jumbos along with the University of New Hampshire (men) and Wellesley, one of the women's crew's top rivals in Division III.
