LEWISTON, Maine -- The big CBB weekend begins tonight for the Bates men's and women's basketball teams, with their NESCAC doubleheader at Colby. The men tip off at 6 p.m., followed by the women's game at 8 p.m. Both games can be followed via Live Stats (at this link) and Live Video Webcast (at this link).
On Saturday, the teams travel to Bowdoin, where the men take on the Polar Bears at 2 p.m., followed by the women at 4 p.m. Both games can be followed via Live Stats (at this link) and Live Video Webcast (at this link).
The Bates men's and women's swimming and diving teams also travel to Colby this weekend, for a Saturday 1 p.m. meet, which will also feature a Live Video Webcast at this link.
The indoor track and field season heats up at the Walter Slovenski Track on Saturday, when Division I Maine joins Division III teams Colby, Southern Maine, Keene State and Gordon for a six-team meet, beginning at 12 noon. On Friday, the Bates women's team hosts the Bates Pentathlon, starting at 5 p.m.
The Bates Nordic and alpine ski teams take the short trip to Sugarloaf this weekend for the Colby Carnival, the second stop on the EISA circuit. Results will be posted at this link.
The squash teams have a relatively light weekend, except in terms of travel. The men's and women's teams both take on NESCAC rival Middlebury on Friday at Yale (7 p.m.), then travel to StreetSquash in Harlem, N.Y., on Saturday, where the men face Fordham and the women play host Columbia, both at 12 p.m.
