Bates Allies Rally IV

The Bates Allies Rally IV event will take place on Friday, Oct. 11, in conjunction with National Coming Out Day, as a way to re-affirm your commitment to diversity and respect. Members of SAAC along with athletics staff will be tabling outside of Fireplace Lounge in New Commons where you can sign the Bates Ally Pledge which reads: "I pledge to help lead the Bates community to respecting and welcoming all persons, regardless of their perceived or actual sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. Beginning right now, I will do my part to promote the best of Bates College by making all persons feel respected and valued." The table will be staffed from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and "Bates Ally" wristbands will be given out while supplies last.
