Bates' four-year starting goalkeeper Katie McEnroe '11 was selected to play in the 2010 NFHCA Division III Senior Game.

LEWISTON, Maine -- Bates College senior goalkeeper Katie McEnroe (Hockessin, Del.) is one of only 37 players who have been selected to play in the 2010 NFHCA Division III Senior Game, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association announced on Monday.

McEnroe, who just completed a standout four-year career with the Bobcats on Sunday in the quarterfinals of the NESCAC Field Hockey Championship, will play in the game on Sunday, Nov. 21 at 9 a.m. at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Va.

McEnroe led the NESCAC for third straight year in saves per game, and was among the top 10 nationally in that category, at 12.00 per game. She reached double digits in saves in 10 of Bates' 15 games this season, including a career-high 22 against Bowdoin on Sept. 18. She ranked seventh in the conference in save percentage (.786), and was tied for fourth in shutouts, with three. McEnroe was the First Team goalie on the 2008 NESCAC Field Hockey All-Conference Team.
