2017First Team All-New England West Region.... Second Team All-NESCAC.... NESCAC Fall All-Academic selection.... Lough put together one of the best seasons in recent memory for Bobcat field hockey, leading Bates to its second straight winning season and the program's best record in NESCAC play since 2002.... She scored 10 goals on the year, tied for ninth most in the NESCAC and the most for a Bobcat since Johie Farrar '03 scored 12 in 2001.... Lough's 26 points are Bates' most since at least the mid-90's.... Lough also scored three game-winning goals, including a tally at the end of regulation to beat Colby 3-2 on the final day of the regular season, propelling the Bobcats into the NESCAC Championships for the third consecutive year.... Lough played a crucial role in one of the most remarkable weeks in program history when the Bobcats beat No. 2 nationally ranked Babson, No. 5 Tufts and No. 6 Amherst over the course of six days, earning NESCAC Player of the Week honors as Bates entered the national rankings for the first time in more than a decade at No. 20.... She figured in three of Bates' four goals during the week and scored the game-winner against Amherst.... That same week, Lough was named Longstreth/NFHCA Division III Honorable Mention Player of the Week by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association, and ECAC Division III North Offensive Player of the Week.... Lough becomes Bates' first All-NESCAC honoree since forward Polly Merck '14 made the Second Team in 2012.

2016: Lough received Second Team All-Region honors from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.... Lough was named Division III All-New England West Region by the NFHCA after leading the Bobcats in assists (7) and points (19) while ranking second in goals (6).... 2016 ZAG Field Hockey/NFHCA NCAA Division III National Academic Squad.... NESCAC Fall All-Academic selection.... Season highlights include a one-goal, one-assist performance in Bates' upset 3-2 overtime win at No. 8 Babson on Oct. 12 and her two-goal, one-assist game against Colby in the Bobcats' regular-season finale, a 4-1 victory.

2015: 2015 ZAG Field Hockey/NFHCA NCAA Division III National Academic Squad.... Played in all 16 games, starting two as a first-year.... Scored four goals on the season.... Tallied a hat trick in Bates' 4-0 win over Thomas (Sept. 23).... Scored a goal in Bates' 3-1 win over Wesleyan (Sept. 26).

Dean's List all four years.... University of Virginia Thomas Jefferson Book Award.... Rhode Island Secretary of State's High School Leadership Award.

Why I chose Bates: I wanted to go to a small liberal arts school with a great sense of community. I chose Bates specifically because of the strong academics and the opportunity to study abroad as an athlete.

One fun fact! I have two parakeets and a tortoise.
