Men's squash routs Boston College on senior night

LEWISTON, Maine -- Five seniors on the Bates men's squash team played and earned points for the No. 14 nationally ranked Bobcats on senior night in a 9-0 win over Boston College on Friday.

Captain Walter Cabot (Dover, Mass.) won 3-1 at the No. 1 position against the No. 35 Eagles' Milo Watanabe. Seven of Bates' other points came via 3-0 decisions, while senior Matthew Ross (New York, N.Y.) won 3-1 at the No. 9 position, his first time in Bates' starting lineup.

Other seniors who won in their final home matches were R.J. Keating (Short Hills, N.J.), who picked up his 52nd career victory with a 3-0 win at No. 2, David Born (Westbrook, Maine), a 3-0 winner at No. 7, and Will Fearnley (Byfield, Mass.), a 3-0 victor at No. 8.

Bates plays at NESCAC opponent Connecticut College on Saturday at 3pm.
