Bates trailed 33-31 at the half but outscored Endicott 20-13 in the third quarter. Davenport opened and closed Bates' scoring in the third with 3-pointers, totaling 15 points in all in the game's decisive quarter.

Sophomore Emily Freedland (Marblehead, Mass.) opened the fourth quarter with a 3-pointer that opened Bates' lead to eight, and first-year Linda Herlihy (Belmont, Mass.) made back-to-back layups halfway through the fourth quarter to give Bates a game-high nine-point lead (60-51).
