LEWISTON, Maine -- Bates senior Allie Coppola was named Maine Co-Player of the Week by the Maine Women's Basketball Coaches Association on Tuesday, following last week's performance in a victory over the University of Southern Maine.

Coppola (Tarrytown, N.Y.) had game highs of 17 points and 12 rebounds while also distributing four assists in Bates' 75-60 home win over the Huskies on Nov. 22.

The three-year captain shares the honor with Bowdoin junior Kate Kerrigan. It is Coppola's first Maine Player of the Week honor -- as a first-year player, she was named Maine Rookie of the Week on three occasions.

Coppola currently ranks third in the NESCAC in rebounds per game (9.0), fifth in points per game (12.7) and sixth in free-throw percentage (.833).
