CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The No. 19 nationally ranked Bates women's squash team rolled past its third straight opponent at CSA Team Nationals, capturing the Walker Cup (C Division) title with a 7-2 victory over No. 17 Dickinson.

The Bobcats (13-7) finished team play in the 2017-18 campaign with five victories in a row and six in their final seven matches.

Remarkably, Bates won its seven points from the same players at the same positions as Saturday's 7-2 win over Tufts. That included a 3-0 sweep for Bates at each of the first six positions on the ladder, led by junior Kristyna Alexova's (Boskovice, Czechia) 11-6, 11-2, 11-9 win over Hedvika Suchankova at No. 1.

Sophomore Luca Polgar (Budapest, Hungary) rose to 15-5 on the year with an 11-7, 11-6, 11-2 triumph over Domenica Romo at No. 2. At positions 3 through 6, junior Vicky Arjoon (Georgetown, Guyana), sophomore Eliza Dunham (New Haven, Conn.), first-year Maeve O'Brien (Essex, Conn.) and first-year Katie Manternach (Brooklyn, N.Y.) won in straight games. And at No. 8, junior Katie Bull (Sudbury, Mass.) did as well.

The victory will vault Bates into a final No. 17 national ranking.

Up next for select Bobcats will be the CSA Individual Nationals, taking place in Washington, D.C., March 2-4.
